RUSSIAN GOLD INLAID SUPERPOSED DOUBLE BBL

This elaborate & profusley gold engraved weapon was made mid to early 19th Century Eastern Russia, probaly the Georgia area. The gun is a very long belt pistol with 2 bbl superposed on top of each other, pearl inlay of the eastern stylem & profuse gold inlaid decoration again of Eastern Russian origin on the bbl, frame, & hammers. This antique @ 44 cal weapon was custom made for or probably for a high ranking Russian officer or Noble. Good working order & a rare gun that came from an estate in Northern Il.
