THIS STATUE WAS A ABREVIATED STATUE OF ONLY LEE. VOLCK, A NATIVE OF NURENBERG, GERMANY WAS EMPLOYED IN THE CONFEDERATE NAVAL ORDINANCE & HYDROGRAPHY DEPT IN 1863. THIS SCULPTOR WAS TO COMMERATE THE VICTORIES THAT LEE BROUGHT TO THE SOUTH AS WELL AS A RALLYING SYMBOL FOR THE CONFEDERACY. THIS SCULPTOR OF LEE IS FROM THE ORIGINAL TERRA COTTA DONE BY VOLCK & IS GUARANTEED TO BE ORIGINAL. THE DIMENSIONS OF THE BRONZE OF LEE HT;19",W: 8".
